October 8 – Friday, 2021 Nobel Peace Price was been awarded to Maria Ressa together with a Russian Journalist Dmitry Muratov for their efforts to safeguard freedom of expression which precondition for democracy and lasting peace, announced by The Chair of the Norwegian Noel Committee Berit Reiss-Andersen.
Teodoro “Teddy” Locsin Jr, DFA Secretary, expresses his felicitations on Maria Ressa for being a Nobel Peace Prize Awardee and being the first Filipino to receive such prestigious award through twitter stating.
“ Congratulations, Maria. A win is a win , Even Cory Aquino Couldn’t get it for restoring democracy through the first ever peaceful people power revolution…” Locsin also added some shady innuendo to Former President Corazon “Cory” Aquino’s Cabinet stating.
“ She (Cory Aquino), had a cabinet and a closed clique of advisers of breathtaking, self-conceit, self-exaggerated talent, me-me-me *ssholes. In her we had gold but couldn’t or couldn’t be bothered to turn it into a Nobel laureate”
That they ( past cabinet) didn’t even recognize the efforts of the Former President to have a peaceful people power revolution as a basis for strengthening the democracy and freedom of expression of the Filipino People.
Locsin was a legal counsel and speech writer and a son of Teodoro Locsin Sr. that is also in the field of media and politics. Whom had serve the People, Media about the happenings in the government.
In Locsin’s tweets he even compare the two woman’s allies that pertaining to Former President’s Cabinet and Maria Ressa’s Supporters. He Tweeted.
“… She had a cabinet of conceited self-centered *ssholes, Maria is lucky; she has real allies and supporters”
They may failed to give her the Nobel Peace Price but still it is a Filipino pride that another Filipino had continue to safeguard the freedom of expression, the democracy and the truth that must be serve to the Filipino Nation.
