Online schooling gets harder for others, while some find it easy. But the thing is, it consumes tremendous energy from us, such as: attending classes and accomplishing our assessments. The essence of this blog is to help us, on facing and cope with the stress of the new-normal schooling.

To think of a bigger picture, online classes are undermining than face-to-face classes. Why? We do not need to commute, and for some, rent an apartment or dorm. We are in the comfort of our home; we have our time to do the activities we need to do because we have our own time. But for some, they find an online class more difficult because we seldom communicate with our friends, it is harder to reach out to the instructor, and we can rest every time we want which tends to cause us a lack of motivation, effort and focus. Now, I will give some tips to stay in line with online schooling.

First, we need to manage our own time and refrain from procrastination. Time is crucial in online schooling. And as students, if we need to manage our time to keep up with our deadlines. Thus, it will help us cope with the stress caused by online classes.

Second, keep away from procrastination. Because if we get lazy, we will not finish the task and activities. Procrastination is a killer.

If you have a project due soon or an important exam coming up, for example, this should take precedence over something that is not due for long. For college students, procrastination can be an issue with the amount of time vacancies. Therefore, it is best to prevent it as much as possible. We all procrastinate from time to time, but there is nothing like finally doing something that has been looming over your head or causing you stress.

Third, take a break from studying. Having proper rest is a part of studying because it gives us refreshment in terms of motivation and focus. It's important to give yourself a break so you may recharge for a few minutes before returning to your studies. Of course, if you're not careful, a study break might turn into legitimate procrastination, so keep track of your study breaks.

And lastly, stay positive. Not with the virus but with online schooling. Because, if we think positively, then we can be active and attentive in every task we do. Keeping a level viewpoint is key to remaining positive. Life is full of both achievements and failures, and how you handle both will influence how you develop and learn as a person.

“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world”.
